3. Different types of depreciation
The purpose of damping is to absorb the kinetic energy generated by the movement of the piston, its rod and the load. A distinction must be made between four different technologies:
damping on elastic stop,
adjustable pneumatic damping,
external hydraulic shock absorber,
damping with an intelligent electronic system.
