INTRODUCTION
In recent years, the mechanical chain industry has not undergone any major changes. Mechanical chains have been around for several decades, and their design and main applications have now stabilized. In the field of power transmission, significant improvements have been made to materials and their treatment to enhance performance, especially wear resistance. In materials handling, new applications are constantly on the increase: new products, increasingly using materials other than steel, can fulfill the functions created by new production designs and organizations.
