Thermomechanical behavior of metal alloys

Having described the main elements of deformation behavior, it is now time to look for practical indicators.

The first step is to recall a few physical properties and record the experimental parameters derived from conventional mechanical testing. The second step is to cite a few phenomenological laws of behavior to derive predictive models that can be compared with experience. Moving on from simple tests to "equivalent" stresses and strains is a step towards generalizing behavior.

Finally, it's worth remembering that metal alloys are, to varying degrees, sensitive to corrosion, which is one of the biggest costs of using these materials.
