5. Anti-vibration suspension of a rigid object

5.1 Modeling

Consider an object of mass M and center of gravity G, for which axes are defined Gx, Gy, Gz, mounted on an elastic suspension. There are six independent movements of this object around its equilibrium position (vibrations), made possible by the flexibility of its links to its environment:

  • next translation Gx: longitudinal movement ;

  • next translation Gy: transverse movement ;

  • next translation Gz: vertical movement (pumping) ;

  • rotation around Gx: rolling motion ;...
