In the recrystallized state, the physical characteristics of low-C unalloyed nickel such as $\text{Ni}\ge 99\%$ are close to those of Fe :

• Modest tensile behaviour: R_p0.2 = 100 MPa; R_m = 360 MPa ;

• crystallization in the CFC mesh since solidification (T_f = 1,453 °C), giving rise to excellent ductility (A = 40%) at all temperatures and a wide range of work-hardening consolidation;

• longitudinal modulus of elasticity: E₂₀ = 2.07.10⁵ MPa ;

• linear thermal expansion: ${\alpha }_{20}^{300}={\mathrm{1,32.10}}^{-5}\text{/}°\text{C}$;
