7. Conclusion
As was the case with centrifugal pumps, each of the solutions we have just discussed is not unique, since the complete definition of a propeller pump leaves the operator free to choose a very large number of parameters. Each of the examples we have presented could have found a suitable solution by making other choices concerning flow speed, diameters, vane load, number of vanes, nominal incidence, etc. Those who have a wealth of experience in this field will be able to draw on the experience of their customers. Those with a heritage of propeller pumps will be able to introduce their own special features into the design.
