6. Practical achievements
Once the calculations have defined the necessary connections between the piping and the surrounding structures, it's time to put them into practice. These connections can be reduced to a few simple functions:
rigid connection, either total or partial (unidirectional or multidirectional);
the elastic connection ;
the constant-reaction bond.
These three types of connection cover all cases encountered, whatever the purpose (expansion, earthquake, weight, etc.).
