1. Continuous flow in a fixed channel
Whatever the phenomenon and the complexity of its mechanical, thermal or other aspects, the laws of mechanics are applicable in a permanent flow. The only condition is that this phenomenon takes place in a Galilean frame of reference, as is the case for the fixed components of machines.
