5. Parameters influencing cutting

Cutting is influenced by a number of parameters, both related to the cutting tool and to the part production process. Among these parameters, we have chosen to present those that appear to be the most important, or which are often misunderstood by those new to the trade.

5.1 Key parameter: the cutting deck
