Description
The material to be cut is held in a vice. The cutting motion is given to the blade. The cycle takes place in two stages: the "forward" movement, in which the tool is given a cutting feed; and the "return" movement, in which the tool is raised slightly to release it from the cut and prevent the teeth from rubbing.
Given the low cutting and feed speeds, the performance of this sawing mode remains modest....
