Digital simulation of welding

The simulation of welding processes is of interest to a wide range of companies in different sectors, with diverse expectations that may be oriented towards problems of strength, distortion, or both.

Over and above the choice of software, welding simulation requires the development of a methodology tailored to expectations. For several years now, PSA has been concentrating on implementing this methodology, and more generally on developing, evolving and validating its welding simulation methodology.

Thanks to this methodological approach, we are now in a position to carry out calculations on industrial cases to address issues of both process development and mechanical strength of the assembly.
