1. Surface finish measurements
The item to be measured has :
homogeneous zones: the values determined over the entire surface are to be used for comparison with the requirements;
non-homogeneous zones: the parameter values determined for each of these zones must be used separately for comparison with the requirements.
When requirements are specified by the upper limit of the parameter, use the area or areas of the surface that appear to have the maximum value of the parameter.
If the direction is not specified, the part must be positioned so that the direction of the section corresponds to the maximum values of the surface roughness height parameters....
