Densification; densification

Permanent volumetric deformation leading to increased density. This deformation is non-reversible after discharge.

Leaching

Formation of an alteration layer on the glass surface by aqueous attack of the silicate network.

Ténacité; toughness

Stress intensity factor value below which a crack will not propagate.

Tribocorrosion; tribocorrosion

Study of the wear or degradation of a material during frictional contact in the presence of an aggressive environment.
