2. Code rules
The codes are divided into two distinct sections.
The first, common to all circuits, concerns the determination of the thicknesses to be given to the constituent elements of a piping network as a function of the pressure-temperature couple. The procedure is as follows:
choice of material (if not imposed) according to conditions of use (temperature, fluid, environment);
determining the permissible stress value in service ;
determining the thickness of straight elements ;
Determining the thickness of curved elements ;
determination or verification of bypass parts.
