Standardization of hydraulic and thermal machines

At European level, standardization is mainly organized within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

At present, the 18 standards bodies belonging to the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), members of CEN, whose central secretariat is based in Brussels, are faced with a considerable demand for standards.
