Water droplets are generated naturally in the atmosphere: rain, fog, mist, dew.
In principle, water condensation takes place in a homogeneous phase in the case of fog or rain, but the presence of heterogeneities in the atmosphere favors its formation. Generally speaking, condensation involves the removal of energy in the form of heat from a gaseous system, such that the reduced agitation of vapor molecules leads to their phase transition into a condensed liquid state.
