A dimension transfer occurs when one way of defining an elementary dimensional condition is replaced by another way that must satisfy this condition.

Neglecting the low incidence of H7, we find that :

the transfer requires a concentricity tolerance to satisfy the original dimension (thickness 10 to 14);
