6. Deformations during photochemical polymerization

Let's consider a parapellipedic voxel placed against the wall of the photopolymerization tank, glued to this wall, its deformation will occur when the light causes polymerization on the free part. As the light is absorbed according to an exponential law (Beer-Lambert), the upper elements polymerize faster than those in the deeper layers and, consequently, deform more rapidly; this is shown in figure 27 concerning the principle of a model of the temporal deformation of a voxel, and figure 28 corresponding to the results of a simulation assuming a shrinkage of 0.15 in percentage illustrating semi-quantitatively...
