The ergonomics of an NC is one of the most important factors in its acceptance on the shop floor. That's why all modern CNC machines feature user-friendly hardware and software functions that enable the operator to communicate simply and effectively with the machine. These functions, which make up the so-called HMI (human-machine interface) or MMI (man-machine interface), are grouped together on the operator console from which the NC 3.3.2
