Fatigue Design Loads

Equivalent damage load (Equivalent fatigue load or Load Intensity Value )

Constant amplitude fatigue loading defined by F_eq which repeated N_eq cycles produces the same fatigue damage as the entire original variable amplitude signal. F_eq can be an effort, a displacement, an acceleration or any other indicator proportional to the parameter (stress, strain, energy dissipated per cycle...) generating the fatigue damage.
