1.1 Voltage measurement
One of the most important issues when measuring electrical quantities is the uncertainty of the measuring equipment itself. These devices are sensitive to temperature and time. By applying temperature coefficients (e.g. × 0.01% per degree) and periodic calibration, uncertainty can be limited.
