4. Illustrative powder characterization results
To illustrate the results obtained for powders, we have chosen the example of a suspension of alumina particles.
These particles are suspended in demineralized batch water at a volume concentration of Φ = 5%. They are assimilated to Mie-type diffusers. The optical parameters corresponding to these particles are calculated routinely during analysis via Monte-Carlo type simulations. The sampling frequency, identical to that used for acquisition, is set at 10 MHz.
