Promoting the customization of a quality management system does not mean that it is acceptable to consider only some of the requirements.
As with previous versions, all requirements of the standard are assumed to apply to the organization implementing them. Exclusion of a requirement is possible only if the activities and practices in question, declared inapplicable, do not affect the organization’s ability or responsibility to ensure the conformity of its products and services and to improve customer satisfaction within the scope of its QMS.
