6. Whites and fluorescence
The measurement of whites [20][21] can be considered a special case, as it is in this zone that the subjective character of visual judgment is most acute. Moreover, the presence of optical whitening agents complicates measurement.
Definitions
White: qualifier given to colors that meet approximately the following conditions:
Perfect diffuser: an ideal surface color with the property of perfectly diffusing the entire luminous flux it receives from the source, evenly across the entire visible spectrum.
