To increase image resolution, you can modify lighting conditions to obtain multiple views of the same specimen, or rotate the specimen.
In all cases, the reconstruction of an object in tomography is based on several measurements outside the object, with varying illumination conditions. The whole process is based on several steps:
1. establish the direct problem, i.e. the model providing the link between the object function sought and the measurement ;
2. solve the inverse problem;
3. experimentally, record the projections using an interferometric or holographic set-up;
4. improve resolution using an aperture synthesis process.
