9. Conclusion
The many examples of industrial applications using electric resistance furnaces show that it's not enough to simply compare the energy costs involved in the process when choosing a heating system. Thanks to their versatility, electric furnaces can be used to increase productivity, improve working conditions and ensure consistent product quality, all at a competitive cost, thanks in particular to simplified maintenance.
