7. Control
The functions performed by a control system fall into two categories: technical functions and economic functions. The number and complexity of the functions performed have increased with the evolution of technology, allowing the system to perform more and more, particularly by incorporating protection.
The main functions perform the following tasks: monitoring, control, signaling, operation and assistance to process participants, communication, maintenance and servicing aids
