3. Photomontage and video overlay
From time immemorial, the ability to visualize what is to be built has been one of the main preoccupations of builders. Traditionally, the methods used were models or photomontages, first used in the 70s.
Thanks to the advent of computer technology, a new method has been developed for embedding books in photo or video images.
3.1 Principle
The principle is to inlay a digitized object into an analog image (photo, video image). This method combines the rigor of positioning calculation with the natural rendering of the photo or video image: the coordinates in the landscape of the objects to be inlaid are calculated by triangulation, and the size of the object in the image is determined by the visual perception curve (figure
