3. Sizing

3.1 Input data required for sizing

As mentioned above, each air cooler is specifically sized according to the customer's needs, which are defined by a number of factors:

  • thermo-physical parameters (fluid inlet and outlet temperatures, flow rate, liquid or gaseous state, air temperature, etc.);

  • mechanical (operating pressure, materials required, number of rows and passes, tubing size, rack or floor mounting, etc.);

  • electrical (mains voltage, frequency, etc.) ;

  • chemical (fluid composition, toxicity, etc.).

All these parameters are usually grouped together in an input data sheet, which the supplier needs...
