As already mentioned, each air-cooled condenser is specifically sized to meet the customer's requirements.

The data required by the customer to size an air-cooled condenser are as follows:

• all possible cases of operation for which performance must be guaranteed;

• design steam flow ;

• maximum and minimum steam flow ;

• pressure at condenser inlet or turbine exhaust flange;

• enthalpy of the steam or mass titer of steam entering the condenser ;

• design ambient temperature ;

• minimum and maximum ambient site temperatures ;

• the maximum and minimum pressure admissible by the turbine;

• site elevation;
