2. Secondary chemistry
The secondary circuit converts the thermal energy produced by the nuclear boiler into mechanical energy. Waste heat is evacuated by the cold source constituted by a steam condenser. Steam from the steam generators (SGs) is fed into the high-pressure turbine casing that drives the alternator (figure
