6. Other aspects
In addition to ageing equipment and the industrial resources needed to maintain or replace it, other factors can evolve and have an impact on the operating life of the units. Whether these changes are technical or otherwise, and whether or not they are the responsibility of the operator, it is the operator's duty to manage them with the utmost care.
