7. Verification and validation of neutron calculation codes
Verification, Validation and Uncertainty Quantification (VVUQ) of a scientific computing tool is the process of assessing its ability to predict real phenomena in a defined field of application. In particular, it aims to quantify the uncertainties and control the calculation biases associated with the quantities used and/or obtained in the studies carried out with this tool.
