7. Measurement processing. Technological solutions
Two technological solutions are used for out-of-core nuclear instrumentation: older analog technology and programmed digital technology, which is becoming more widespread.
Analog technology is characterized by an assembly of electronic modules in which functions are performed by components linked together "by wiring". This is also known as wired technology. The components are discrete and can be operational amplifiers, transistors, resistors, capacitors, etc.
