3.1 Evolution of variables (other than T and S ) during the combination of two systems

3.1.1 Intensive variables

If we link two systems, all of whose points have the same intensive variable or voltage, no macroscopic phenomena occur (in particular, there is no transfer of energy from one to the other). The final tension of the system is the same as the initial tension of each of the two separate systems.
