The aim of this last paragraph is to describe the main elementary reactions, as well as the kinetic mechanisms that explain the phenomena observed during the oxidation of the main families of hydrocarbons, alkanes, alkenes and aromatic compounds, which are present in fuels derived from petroleum or natural gas.
