Thermodynamic charts – Wet mixtures and combustion charts

For air treatment and flue gas analysis applications, the mixture diagrams used in the study of thermal machines presented in the article [BE 8 042] are not the most suitable, as we have shown here.

Carrier and Mollier diagrams of wet mixtures, whose composition may vary due to condensation or vaporization of the water contained in a gas, are used to represent air-conditioning cycles. They are still widely used in air treatment. Knowing the temperature of the humid gas, its absolute humidity, relative humidity, dew...
