5. Consequences of electrolyte conductivity
Without wishing to be exhaustive, the following examples of electrochemical systems in analytical chemistry or industrial applications illustrate the importance of the concepts presented in this article. Depending on the case, they illustrate the importance of the overall conductivity of these media through the consequences in terms of ohmic drop and Joule effect, but also the importance of the nature of the charge carriers and their transport number, where applicable.
