In this second section, devoted to organic liquids with a carbon number greater than 8, viscosity data have been evaluated, analyzed and correlated for around 1,000 compounds.

The viscosity data presented in table 1 are absolute or dynamic viscosities η, expressed in µPa.s, and the temperatures are in Kelvin. These data can be converted to kinematic viscosity ν if the density ρ of the substance under consideration is known at the same temperature. The relationship between dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity is as follows: η=νρ
