5. Conclusion
The methods for calculating the elements of a matrix function described in this article have reached a satisfactory degree of maturity, both in terms of calculation accuracy and execution time. However, there is still room for improvement for some specific functions. For the calculation of a matrix function applied to a vector, it is possible that new iterative methods could bring improvements.
