ABSTRACT
In this article we discuss passive mechanical amplifiers with very large amplification ratios. They are based on a series of combinations of articulated mechanisms studied in previous articles. First, a symmetric three-stage amplifier that provides very high gain, has a highly adaptable use and involves only revolute joints. Second, a two-step orthogonal force amplifier offering several advantages: a strong force-amplifying effect, high efficiency and structural compactness. This article results from general studies. The two cases are discussed in detail with many simulations.

INTRODUCTION
In what follows, we'll be looking at passive mechanical amplifiers with very high amplification ratios. On the one hand, we'll look at a symmetrical three-stage amplifier that delivers very high gain, is easy to adapt and doesn't just use rotoidal joints. On the other hand, we'll look at an amplifier with two orthogonal stages, which also delivers high amplification ratios in a compact package.
