Two-phase flows - General laws

When a two-phase system is studied in detail, using local equations and boundary conditions, the system of equations is complete and the interfacial transfers are solutions to the problem.

If the system is studied globally, using averaged statistical equations, the transfer terms must be given a priori. These complementary relationships must be obtained by evaluating the following quantities:
