Differences between platforms

The first observation we can make is the differences in the data collected and aggregated by the various services and tools. These differences relate in particular to :

• the number of sources ;

• the level of detail. For example, Plum Analytics collects Facebook "likes" as well as comments and shares, while ImpactStory collects only shares;

• values for metrics from the same source ;

• the number of DOIs collected.
