3. Data visualization typology
In its traditional form, datavisualization enables a wide range of representations. Now based on powerful algorithms, often abstract and interactive, they enable the visual processing of a vast amount of data and offer a wide range of graphical representations.
3.1 Data typology
To produce relevant graphs, you need to know the type of data to be processed, as this will determine the type of graph you can produce. Data can be quantitative, such as numbers or number ranges, or qualitative, such as words or categories. There are two types of data, divided into subgroups:

Nominal (Named, non-hierarchical categories). Example: Name, Women/Men,...
