10.1 Typology of installations
Today's user installations can take many forms. There are two main classes of private branch exchange: small-capacity (less than 100 stations) and medium- to large-capacity (100 stations or more).
10.2 Small installations
Most of the installations in the first class are not digital, and this situation leads to the creation of a new range connected by one or more ISDN basic accesses.
