LHN
High-level language. A programming language such as C, C++, Java, etc. that is translated into machine language by a compiler.
CISC
Computer with complex instruction set. A CISC instruction set has variable-length instructions, and calculation instructions work on data contained in registers or memory.
RISC
Computer with reduced instruction set. A RISC instruction set has fixed-length instructions, and calculation instructions work on data contained only in registers.
UAL
