Canopy architecture
The structural elements of the main wing box illustrate the principles
of load-bearing panel construction and can be applied to similar systems:
auxiliary wing structures: horizontal stabilizer box (tail),
vertical stabilizer box, control surface box;
rigid aerospace casings and land vehicles in general;
large-scale civil engineering caissons.
In addition to these global calculations, there are local calculations
linked to local loads, elements and parts, all of which constitute
special cases but are not included in the architectural dimensioning
of the canopy.
