In general, the structure of a non-contact fatigue detection system using a camera and a digital model is as follows: face detection, feature extraction and fatigue modeling. However, methods can vary considerably from one study to another, so this section aims to explore the different methods that can be used for camera-based fatigue detection without calling into question the veracity of what is being detected.
