Evaluating the metrics associated with the availability, maintainability and safety of industrial systems, in the majority of cases involves taking the human factor into account during the operational phases. It is important to note that in the statistics on failure causes, human and organizational failures often account for more than 50% of cases (80% in aeronautics), as shown in figure 23 . To take into account the human factor and the origin of human errors, studies have been undertaken since the 1960s. The first method, Therp (technique for human error rate prediction), was developed by Swain in 1963
