The properties of titanium have been the subject of articles

. We recall here that titanium is the site of a martensitic-type α/β allotropic transformation in the vicinity of 882°C called β-transus. The β phase with a centered cubic structure is stable at high temperatures, and the α phase with a hexagonal structure is stable at low temperatures (below the β transus)....
